Palazzo Pisani Moretta


Built in the second half of the XV century and placed in on of the most important location of the Canal Grande, between the Rialto bridge and Cà Foscari, the palace became the estate of the noble Pisani Moretta family.


The façade of the palace is an example of the floral venetian gothic, the architectural impressiveness of the façade is due to the extraordinary windows of the two main floors. The interiors are built in Baroque and Neoclassical style: the first noble floor boasts different frescos and artworks by Jacopo Guarana, Giambattista Tiepolo and Pietro Longhi.


The palace is still a private property, it is recognized for having hosted some historical personalities of the European contest, as the Russian Zar Paul, Pauline Bonaparte and Joseph II Austria Emperor. It was recently restructures and in occasion of the Carnival it still hosts sumptuous Masquerades. In occasion of weddings, cocktail party, gala dinner and private events, every architectural and artistic element is valued and enriched by the use of soft colors and light beams, for making the environment welcoming and customized with the use of the Light Design.
