The first nucleus of the current Villa Borromeo was built around the 1765, it was commissioned by the noble family D’Adda. The building is attributed to Francesco Croce, an influent exponent of Lombard late Baroque. The architect, operative till 1773, is considered the inventor of the role model of the eighteenth-century Lombard villa.
Until Second World War Villa Borromeo was considered as resort and party’s place, in fact in the first years of the XIX century it hosted historical celebrities like Napoleone I and Gioacchino Murat. Even today Villa Borromeo is a privileged location where celebrating gala dinners, private and wedding parties.
With a careful Light Design project, we will recreate the right atmosphere highlighting areas where the reception, the cocktail and the party will take place.
