Villa La Mattarana
The singular name villa La Mattarana comes from the name of a XII century Abbess: Mater Anna. The building dates back to1400s century; the ceiling of famous Main Room of Emperors, painted with a grotesque decoration, is a work of Bernandino India, an Andrea Palladio’s collaborator.
The location hosts events like gala dinners, weddings, and private events. The historical villa earns more splendour and appeal with careful light and shadow plays; the main interior room and the courtyard are lighted up, becoming a real enchanted garden, recreating an additional area where welcoming your guests.
